How can I tell the cousin of my niece that there is no hero?

I mean he really wanted to be a hero like Spiderman. He likes to fly and all but I don't want to dash his dreams because he said he really really like to be one. I suggested to him that he should try karate to be strong and be a "hero" someday but he keeps on asking questions on how to save people...

Hi Lonely, well you have not said how old this little boy is but I think that you are right and that Karate would be best for him to do so that when he gets into trouble at least he would know how to protect himself and others.

Most kids usually want to become a superhero when they grow up. Just play along for now, kids like to know that you believe in them and that they can feel good about something. So if being a hero makes him happy then let him be happy. Once he's older, he will realize he cannot be a superhero, but maybe a doctor, or a police man or firefighter, they help people. Just let him be a kid for now.
