So wht according to u is more better.. harry potter books or movies... I thk boooks r very much cool, coz description given in book is quite outstanding & in depth... we Can imagine every scenario by reading... J.K rowling have written quite superbly... On other hand, movies r also quite superb.... ALl the four movies r good, but i thk story of 3 & 4 is so big tht it should hve been made in 2 parts, as in just one movie everything goes quickly and many important parameter r not explained... Direction of 1 & 2 was quite outstandingg.. I understand the limitation of movies tht they hve.... Actually after watchin movies, its even more fun in reading books as we can visulaise & imagine the character... So both books & movies of harry potter r quite superb... WEll hope new movie the Order of Phenoix would be great too.. Well wht u all thk abt Harry Potter Series..... Besides this if wanna earn some cash then visit following sites & sign up & earn... Have a great day!!!!! http://adbux.org/?=wolverine369 http://shareapic.net/ref.php?owner=wolverine369 http://marketingpond.com/ref.cgi/4629/ Enjoy!!!!

I think the movie is better.I am always very excited when I watch Harry Potter. But if I am reading a book I take long to complete reading the complete book. While in a movie, the whole story is winded up in 120 minutes approximately,so I can control my anxiousness only till 2 hrs and not for days .

hi. well honestly i prefer reading the Harry Potter Books rather than watching the movies. Though the movies are really remarkable, the books give me the chance to widen my imagination. I'm looking forward to the new movie as well. By the way, thanks for the sites.

it depends upon the person who is reading or watching it. for a movie there is a limited time.

I love the movies, but i do read the book before the movie so that i dont miss a scene that wasnt in the movie. by the way, you get a bad rating if you put a link in your post. read guidelines and faqs for mylot. just to warn you so that you dont get a bad rating once you reach 100 posts.

Books, there is no comparison.. not even close. Don't get me wrong, i love watching the movies, but we must admit that the movies sometimes are not worth the wait. There are a lot of important thing that were left out. Those who do not read the book but watch the movie sometimes get puzzled how things happen, why conclusion is like this and that. I hope this one coming will give justice to the book. I've read somewhere that they cut a lot of important scenes because the film will be too long, and that viewers might get bored. Then on muggle.net, a fanatic said something like this: I've been following the series since my college years, don't ever think that we will get bored. Try us.

I like the books better because as you say they are more in depth so you can use your imagination to try to picture what it would look like. The movies are very good and i enjoy them but they do have to cut things out so they aren't super long.

so you mean which is better? of course the movies, coz i don't have to read for a week to understand the story, just a 2 hour film can make me understand everything,

I like both of them both have their way of presenting.. U got to watch the video in movies whereas in books u get every bit of detail about the story so for me I prefer to read book first before watching movie...

for me, reading the book first is better. each harry potter book contains all the tiniest details that the movie does not include.

books are definitely better. jk rowling really is a great writer. she describes everything as if they're right before your eyes. you can also know what's on everyone's mind, unlike in the movies, you can only speculate or assume what the person is thinking based on the actors facial expressions or acting. you also dont need to turn the volume up just so you can understand perfectly what the actors are saying. in books, it's all there! :)

For me it would have to be the movies because the effects in the movie are way better then anything I could picture in my head. I do agree though some books are just better then the movies.

books are better, or audiobooks would be more better. It gives more details than the movies. For me, HP movies are made to give us the actual imagination. It also makes reading the book more enjoyable. I'm getting too much excited for the last book.
