We see a lot of discussions here about cricket. Like most American sports fans, I enjoy and am knowledgeable about a lot of sports. However, I know very little about cricket. I know that someone throws a ball and someone else hits it with a bat. In that regard, it sounds similar to American baseball. Perhaps some of you would be kind enough to explain the basics of cricket to us under-educated American sports fans.
