favorite band or song from the eighties

Even FLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. even though I was born in 88. I later on liked pearl jams music.

My favorite bands in the eighties are Duran Duran from England and Air Supply from Australia. Both produced good songs during the eighties.

i was a fan of the culture club and the survivors. i like their songs specially the EYE OF THE TIGER by the survivors and KARMA CHAMELEON by the Culture Club. these two songs were the most popular and remained in the music charts for several weeks. i can't forget too that in this decade the song WE ARE THE WORLD by USA for AFRICA was a top-selling single of all time.

I grew up in the eighties so this is a tough one for me. There are so many. I'll start with U2 and Bon Jovi. My husband would choose Van Halen. There was some seriously good music that came out in the eighties. What an era.

I like Laura Branigan's 'Self-control'. Because not only the number is excellent but it is associated with some of the best moments in my life..So whenever I listen to it, I just go back to those days..
