First Love and Attractiveness

I was talking to someone and this person does not seem to believe in "first love" instead the belief was that you have to get to know someone over several months before really being attracted to them, but I think that sometimes you can just look at someone and feel a connection, or feel attracted (in terms of romance, sometimes you can look at people and perceive them as honest, kind, etc). What do you all think?

Yes, I agree with you Transformed. I've been there myself, and lasted out five years with the very same person. Ok, we have our ups and downs, but deep down, I believe we're soul mates. We stick together despite our little disagreements. I fell in love with him, the first time I saw him, and I'll always love him.
