Is it hereditary, or is it caused by too much shampooing of the hair everyday? Does hair gels also cause baldness? My son is showing signs of baldness (just starting) and I would like to know if it can still be reveresed. . .

I am a hairdresser and I get asked this alot. Yes it can be hereditary, no it can not be caused by to much shampooing. That only helps, see what happens is if you are not one that it falls in your heritage, then there are many reasons. One can be from a dirt build up in the poors. Many men like to wear hats, this causes the dirt to stick in the poors. After time the skin grows over these poors causing no hair to grow and it becoming smooth. There is a really good product called nioxin you can get at most hair salons. If the problem has just started this stuff is great and really helps. What it does is deep clean the poors and stimulate the poor agian. This allows regrowth.

Baldness is mainly genes. While there are things you can do to stimulate the hair growth some but I don't believe there's really anything that can medically be done other then transplanting hair, which is expensive.

Sometimes balding is genetics or hereditary. I personally believe it is caused by worry. Worry about children and grandchildren. So my scientific conclusion is: baldness is caused by our children and grandchildren. It is all their fault that I am losing my mind, I mean, hair. LOL

Children are also the root cause of gray hair.

Baldness is inheritance in many cases. Uncared of your hair also cause to loss the hair. My son was also suffering and he was feeling it bad. He went to a homeopath. He suggested a medicine and he found that his hair became strong and ceased to loss. Harmonic problem and irregular feeding also cause to loss the here. Our hair roots require blood circulation. If the blood is not reaching properly to the roots of hair, the hair start to damage. Your son should rush to doctor and he should cure it in time, other wise gone hair could not come back.

Hi, I had a bad experience with a 6 week hair wash from the supermarket, (I won't say the brand or they could sue me). But within 2 weeks of using it, I started getting bald patches, and over 3 months it's grew to the size of 2 apples. I went to specialists but I did not believe them and they were only interested in treating me and not find out the cause. I went with my own gut feeling and did not use any more hair dyes, and my hair has now completely grown back. I will never put cover or rinses in my hair again.

The number one culprit is the genes.Your son should have chosen his parents.

Shampooing can make baldness to some extent.over usage can usage them.and always try to use best quality shampoo.dont try new new products.if you are using head and shoulders.keep on using them.dont change the brand.it can make the naturality of our hair.my mother very case about her hair.she know some tricks to keep her hair in always moisture condition. The main factor is heredity. Other reasons could be due to stress and tension, food and use of improper hair shampoo or hair cream. Of course radiation will definitely causes the dropping of hair. Some believe to take food out side too often could cause baldness as well as the food prepared outside is considered to be too salty and other condiments are added to make them more delicious.
