Absolutely not, I was actually completely relieved finally. I think he may have been nice, but he wasn't as good and should not have made it that far. There were a lot of better singers/performers than he, who were voted off before they really got their feet wet. I think anymore American Idol is a popularity contest, either that or people are "tone def". I dont think Sanjaya sang very well at all, but that is my opinion.

I really felt sad when he was voted off the idol show. I miss his different hairstyles...his nice smile.

No I was not because I hated the fact that I like his sister's voice better than his and she didn't even get on the actually run of Idol. So I was actuallly happy that he went.

I don't be upset when Sanjaya eliminated. He has a great personality, he is nice, his voice is soft. but he can't variated the songs he sang, so when I heard him singing, I was a little bored.

I like Sanjaya. but I wasn't sad much. because there are better singers. I think he's not compatible with competition like A.I. he's not a great singer. but still he's very attractive. his voice is very pretty, strange to say, made me feel hollowness or something. I loved his 'bathwater' better than 'no doubt''s.(its perfection level aside) i want him to practice more..hope I can see his performance again. :-)

I know this is wrong and there were better singers kicked off sooner, but Sanjaya was completely entertaining to me. I think he handled the whole circus swirling around him like a man. I know it is easy to see him as a boy but he has a great way about him. I also loved to see Simon's hypocrisy. Sanjaya is exactly as talented as the other people on Simon's label except for past Idol winners. This man as a producer is responsible for marketing some god awful entertainers. People who can only put out a song if it is engineered in studio and fall on their faces in live situations even with backing tracks. This is why Simon always says your too cabaret or broadway or the insult of insults (he thinks) you sound too old. Which means "OMG you can really sing. Now I have to crush you so my production company doesn't have to worry about signing someone with actual talent so we will not be able rule your career".

not really hehe. no offense...i do think that he seems like a nice guy though, and he does have the potential of being a good singer. he must have been good for the judges to have picked him to enter americal idol. just that his performance is not consistent on idol, sometimes he does well and sometimes he doesn't.
