What are you collecting?

I collected stamps before but then I passed all my stamps to my father because he likes it too and I don't have enough time to take care of it now. Lately I like to collect mugs. But since they took space, I can't buy all the mugs that I like so often. I try to find some space for them before I'm "seriously" collecting them. What are you collecting?

Before I was married and had kids, I was into collecting fridge magnets. At that time, I travelled to other countries at least twice a year and I made it a point to buy fridge magnets from the different places that I visited.

My in-laws also did the same but now it's a problem since we have kids. The fridge magnets are no longer safe in their places because our kids might take them from their places and throw them away everywhere and they easily break into pieces. Did you experience the same? But it must be fun because usually you can buy fridge magnets with one country's specialties, like the Eiffel tower of France, etc. Thanks for sharing.

It is great to hear that people still collect stamps. I thought it was a dying art. I used to collect cloth badges when we went on holiday. Then for lots of reasons: cost, could not remember which I had already, standard of badges getting worse and had 3 books full already; I decided to change. I have been collecting packs of playing cards. These are good as we can use them whilst we are on holiday, they are not very expensive and remind us of our holiday when we use them back at home. They are taking up some space now though.

Well, it must be fun. It also doesn't take too much space like mugs. =) Thanks.

Thanks for sharing. I have some bags that can't be considered as collection because I don't have a special space for them.
