Mice

I purchased a home about 2 years ago. This past winter we found out that we have a mice problem. The problem went away when our neighbors bought a corn furnace. They stored the corn outside and frequently dropped kernels which attracted mice their way and away from mine. They're former farmers so it didn't bother them. My problem is, I am seeing mice in my house again because I think that they are seeking food since my neighbors are no longer dropping kernnels since they aren't burning them anymore. Does anyone have any solution to getting rid of them and keeping them gone?

Why not drop some corn outdoors now and then, far away from your house and get the mice out. Then you could tighten all possible holes in the house so they don´t get in again. Perhaps you could borrow somebody´s cat now and then too or have a cat of your own, if it is possible.
