Success or no Success with Vendor Fairs!!

All that sell products, who has sold at vendor fairs? Is it a good way to get customers?? Has anyone had a great turnout? I am curious how you find the listings and when and where they happen. I really want to work at home and I think if i find a great product and sell at vendor fairs I will make money and make great contacts. Let me know any knowledge you have gained with this. Thank you.
