I had this reacurring dream?

i have had this dream about 3 times and its about this ghost like thing following me around shopping centres. The last dream i had of "it" was i was running into an underground shoe shop. "It" was talking to me and telling me not to be afraid and everything will be ok. i woke up really confused... was this "it" my soul? or a ghost? or my gaurdian angel? any ideas?
