STOP calling us Anti-Catholics

I don't know about any other Christians (or anyone else for that matter) but I am sick of being called an anti-Catholic. I have left the Catholic church and I have reasons for it. I am not afraid to explain to anyone why I left. I left because it went against so much of GOD's WORD and relied too much on human rules. Not being afraid to show the different areas where they go against the bible does not make me or anyone else anti-Catholic. Everyone is free to believe as they wish BUT I believe that the bible is the WORD OF GOD. I trust Him not humans to guide my life. And just because I don't see that in the Catholic church; does not mean I am against Catholics. I have an entire family that is Catholic!!! I have friends that are Catholic. I love them. Just because I love them does not mean that they believe in a religion that is based on the bible. So please when me or anyone else points out differences between the Catholic church and the Bible; don't call us anti-Catholic. We don't call catholics anti-God or anti-Jesus. I would expect the same level of respect. If anyone would like to add to this please do. I would love to hear from those who feel as I do about being called Anti-Catholic AS WELL as those who feel we are Anti-catholic.

I agree with you and the others, there shouldn't be an 'anti' any religion - each person has a right to their own beliefs. As for 'Catholics' I do get really tired of seeing all the Catholic bashing that goes on. I'm not Catholic myself and never have been but my step-father, mother, and 2 sisters are very devoted Catholics. I don't agree with their beliefs but respect them and my step-father born and raised Catholic and I have had some wonderful discussions. I've been to their church and they have been to mine and we each respect each other's choice. That's the way it should be.

I dont think the prefix "anti" should be used regarding any religion. Just because I have an different set of beliefs from other people does not mean I am anti-anything. We should feel free to worship who and whatever we want without being "anti"
