workout: early morning or late afternoon

It is the same old question: what is the best time to workout?
Some people say it should be in the morning before breakfast so you will burn a lot of calories from your reserves and gives a nice rush of adrenalin for the day.
Other people say that it should be 8 hours after your main meal. So in the late afternoon or early evening. And it would release tension from the day.
