hey everyone. at first i was going to address this to the ladies mainly concerning their hubby's habits, BUT maybe the ladies are guilty of this as well. so i sit in the same room, typing to ya'll while my hubby sits next to me, playing some video game tonight, and is being SO LOUD about things going on in the game. i mean he is mad, then gets all happy, and then cusses, then gets mad at me for telling him to calm down...so i've asked him a hundred times...why is this so fun and relaxing to you, when all you do is whine and moan???....his response, "it IS fun, it IS relaxing, this is my hobby, blah blah blah". now...i am NOT knocking video games, i play tekken and guitar hero, and YES i get very upset and loud as well when i die, or lose or miss something, HOWEVER, because it makes me react that way, i don't play very often....so i ask you...do you have a husband, a son, a daughter, YOURSELF...who cusses and gets SO mad and loud at games? and if it's someone other than yourself, does it drive you nuts that they are sitting there going crazy? i tell him to just go to another game or something, yea, he just barks at me, ha ha. SO maybe i don't quite understand, AND i wouldn't call myself a gamer. but i hate being frustrated with stuff, so why continue, if all you do is get mad, when it's a hobby which should help you in your relaxation? maybe i'm just a quitter...HA!! AND i realize everyone is different, SO it MAY be relaxing for several people...so what are all of your views?

LOL well my hubby doesnt usually yell or anything ,but he's big into games. My pet peeve with it is he'll like zone out and be playing forever while i'm like changing all the diapers, feeding kids, giving baths ect. LOL I cant help but wish I was just sitting around..lol. Now that he's gone though, I'd give anything to see him sitting around playing the games again. Now me on the other hand I get STRESSED out playing games, so I don't do it often. I was playing Phoenix Wright for my nintendo ds and got so irritated that I couldn't figure out the case that I just quit so I wouldnt stress anymore..lol

yes i'm the same way as ur husband. i can get so mad at my system that i wanna just throw it out the window. i've broken so many remotes in the past that my mother would take my games away. i try not to get as mad as i did when i was younger. sometime it can be relaxing and other times it can stress u out and make u not wanna play it anymore. no matter how mad i get at my games i still pick the remote up to play
