If you are buying ***MOM*** a present, what are you giving her?

Mother's day is upon us once again. If you are buying a special ***MOM*** a gift what will you be giving?
I'm a mom, and my mom is alive, so our family is all going out for dinner today. I did buy my mom a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful card with my own sentiment added in. I sent candy to my mother-in-law (as she hates flowers), and flowers to both of my children's God-mothers.
For my mother's day, I told my kids to help me do spring cleaning and work around the house/yard this weekend. So far so good! We got a lot done yesterday and that always feels good. ^..^
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MOM'S ON MY-LOT!!!

For my mom this year I had made her a nice card that reads
Do you Remember when I use to play dress up in your clothes so I could be just like you?
and as a teenager I was always right and your were always wrong?
Thank you for giving me someone to look up to when I was a child...Thank you for all your guidance and tough love when I was a teenager.....Thank you for raising me, loving me and always being there for me.

Mothers day passed here a few months back, but I bought my mother another locket and inserted a picture of her grandson and father. (As well as few smaller presents)

I had my GF pick it up for my mom (don't tell her :-p) I'm giving her a perfume of some kind...

This year I'm not able to be with my mom. So I called the local garden center in our home town and asked them to deliver a flat of impatients to my mom. She plants them every year in her planters by her porch. I will really miss not being with her this year. Enjoy your dinner.

i think the best thing you could give tyo a mom is to have the whole family around her for dinner or an outing or something as long as the whole family is together! they appreciate things that are hand made too preferably by yourself so i make sure i always make a card instead of buying it.
