If a parent does drugs, should they ever see the child?

First let me point out, I have never done drugs, never will, and this has nothing to do with me, I was just curious! What are your views on this-If two parents are not living together, and one of the parents has a mild OR heavy drug abuse problem, should they be allowed to see the child( The other parents claims they don't do drugs when the kids are around)? Do you think yes, not at all or only if the visits are supervised?

I say that as long as the vists are supervised I wouldn't have a problem with it at all. That parent needs to face up and do what is not only best for the child, but what is best for them as well.

I think the parents can see their kids if they really care for and i see families with such conditions but they are very responsible with their kids. In such cases it ok if the parent really knows how to deal with the kids without showing them what they really are into or without leading their kids to the qrong path.
