currently massa is upstaging kimi in every aspect. massa seems to be faster.. kimi is a fast driver, but right now massa seems to hold the upper hand. do u think kimi will be able to outpace massa later in the season when he's more settled within the ferrari team?

Kimi is far far better than Massa, but a lot unlucky in several aspect. See last race, he could ve won it. But then came the mechanical failure. As he said, there is something going on to prevent him from becoming the champion. But I think he will beat all the odd to become champion this year. Lets wait and see. Still there are 7 races to go.

There is a lot of difference between a good team and a great team. While having a fast car or a fast driver might make a team good or competitive, for it to become great, it requires exceptional amounts of dedication and sacrifices. When Michael Schumacher, Ross Brawn and Rory Bryrne together moved from the championship winning Benneton team to Ferrari, people thought that they had gone out of their mind. Prost had called the Ferrari F1 car a 'truck' and their pit crew were the butt of jokes. It was this troika that taught Ferrari the winning ways, and that was only possible due to the extra-ordinary amounts of effort and dedication that each of them put in. People remember that Schumacher started his Ferrari job with a huge pay packet, but how many remember that Ferrari were nowhere on the top when he came? It was Micheal who put Ferrari on the map, not the other way around. Kimi might be a fast driver, but everybody knows really how professional he is. He cares for nothing other than his own race and position. Even in the Spanish Grand prix of 2007, he did not even wait for Massa to complete the race. He just left the stadium as soon as his race ended. People like him never get far. Massa on the other hand has learned a lot under Micheal's tutelage and seems to be willing to undergo the grind that is required to make a rough cut stone into a finely cut diamond. Massa is the only real long term prospect for Ferrari.

kimi is a good driver. this is his first season at ferrari so he will take some time to settle down. once he feels at home there he is sure dgonna outpace massa. remember when he was at mclaren his partner was montonya, another fiery driver, but most of the time kimi outpaced montoya. thats because he was settled well there. so just wait for the season to unfold.
