I think percription drugs are a waste because they just cover up symptoms, they don't "cure" anything. I think they are the lazy way of dealing with health issues.(in alot of cases, not all) Most of the time there is an alternative way but you must play an active role in your health and not depend on pills to work miracles. Agree or disagree and why?

I do agree that some people have become too reliable on pills, but I hate to say that this is not actually true that pills do not cure anything. While many things can't be cured, some prescpription pills such as antibiotics do cure the ailment. While, some pills are designed to make living with an uncurable illness easier. For example Parkinson's disease or Cystic Fibrosis. Yes, there are alternative ways to dealing with ailments. It does require people to be more health consious about diet and excersise. And it's not always necessary to pop two aspirins at the first sign of a headache. But everyone is different. And if helping with symptoms is the best they can do, then that's what works for them.

What about Penicillan? Do you not believe that antibiotics cure things like bronchitis, sinusitus and other bacterial infections?

Yes, that is true. But I actually don't believe straight penicillan is used that much these days. It's usually a variation of it, like amoxycillan. I can not take any derivative of penicillan because I am allergic to it. So I usually take erythromyacin or some form of that.
