I have heard alot of different things that can help I am just wanting to see if anyone has something they know works. I have heard baby oil warmed up works well but I am skeptical. So have your children had ear infections and how did you help relieve the pain????

Hello, Not sure when a child can have honey, but warmed honey can cure a ear infection in seconds. My mother did it to me growing up and I went from screaming to calm in seconds. It feels great. I also run a daycare and have children of my own and it works. so I hope you try this out and good luck.

WOW I didn't know that about honey. unfortunatly kids can't have it til they are a year old it can cause botulism in the intestines so not too good. I got her some ear drops and also some numbing ones so the infection is gone now and she has seen a doctor finally, but thank you for your reply. When she gets older I may try that

If I suspected ear infection in my kids I always took them to the doctor. I didnt want to risk damaging their hearing. He would usually prescribe an antibiotic and ear drops for the pain.

I would definately get her to a doctor if I could we have no doctors here so I asked the pharmacist what to use and he gave me some polysporin ear/eye drops to take the pain away. Thanx for replying
