Do you prefer cell phone or home phone?

I think mobile cells are nice. You can keep them with you wherever you go. You know the importance of cells when you are at some place where you do not have access to home/landline phone and somebody tells you something important via calling on your cell. There are moments in life which are mostly shared on your cell, because you might not be at home all the time. There are moments of happiness and sorrows but yet important to you. You can live without landline but not cellphones. It is what I think, people may disagree as opinions most of the times differ.

At the moment I wish I had a home phone. Cell phones annoy me, but at the moment the only phone I have is a cell phone that is actually my husband's. So we have to share it and most the time he has it with him at work, so I have to work my call schedule around his. It's a pain the rear end on most days, especially since I am trying to run a business and need a phone so people can call at anytime during the day and afternoon.

I much prefer a home phone then a cell phone. I hate talking on the phone anyway. So I dont even have a cell phone. I think they are riduculous and a big waste of our money. But hey Im not wasting my money.LOL

No doubt, cell phones are useful when you are outdoor but, I do not find it convenient to use them. Everything is do tiny. On the other hand the home phone has limitation that it can not be taken out. I use both, depending upon the circustances and the need. Too much use of cell phone may not be good for the health as it releases lot of radiation that may be harmful to the body.

I would say cell phone as I use it a lot more than I do with my home phone. This is because I text people and can take it with me wherever I go.

I think that cell phones are better due to the fact you can take them anywhere and also due to the calling price plans for house phones here. I find it's cheaper here to just have a cellular phone as practically everyone has one now a days, and it's way easier to control a cellular phone here then a house phone. Once They house phone came to over 100€ from talking to friends... Yes it was my fault, it was New years and I wanted to talk to all my friends... But it wasn't the only time it happened. Now everyone has their own cellular phone, mine is a pre-pay so I can't go over that amount by mistake anymore lol.

I am from the 19th century and still use a regular phone. I will probably be the only person on the planet that doesn't use a cell phone. It is nice to have peace and quiet and not have to be constantly bothered by the phone ringing. There is no way I am going to use a cell phone to access the Internet, watch TV or whatever else they think it is so great for using.

I have both but i enjoy my cell a lot.i have to have a home phone because of my computer.....If it wasn't for that i would just use my cell all the time.i have a blutooth and no hands is easy.

I prefer home phones and use the cell phones for emergencies only.

i prefer my home phone,honestly.i rarely use a cell-just for emergencies and travel,that's about it.

I like my home phone better. When I'm home I use the home phone. I do like my cell phone, but I don't use it all that much.

I like home phone or I call it the land line. I think the sound quality is better than a cell phone. More and more people are going to just having cell phones. I myself have not decided to do that because I want to keep my cell phone.

yes i agree with u i like my mobile when im out but at home its the house phone cordless.so i can move around

I prefer my cell phone. I can use it anywhere in teh US and Canada, and people can always find me with just one phone call. I refuse to have the expense of both, and my cell phone is cheaper than a landline. So I'll stick with just ONE phone that I can take with me anywhere!

I have both a "land line" and a cell phone. I originally got the cell when I was working, we had 1 phone for 6 people & we had some people that thought the phone was there for their their exclusive use. I needed to be able to be reached because of my mom. I still have the cell because I still need to be reached by the family, either when I'm with my mom, or I'm at my new job or in the car. I have 2 roommates who don't have cell phones, so I still need the landline because they need to be reached!
