Help I think I may have a spirit Problem in the Building I moved into...

I just moved here in March, and the first night I moved in my son acted very strangely. He would keep telling myself and my 11 year old cousin that "It was coming."
That afternoon My aunt, Uncle and I were standing in my hall and one of my sons cars flew off a box and rolled across the floor to the other side of the room fast as if someone was pushing it...
About a hour later I was unpacking and washing newspaper ink off of my dishes, the wierd thing is that my son went quite, while checking on him he was fine, but I heard children laughing, and when I went back into the kitchen the sink was drained. Sometimes I feel fine, in my apartment other times I feel strange like there is a unknown presence in the house. I live in a old School House, converted into apartments. Sometimes the hallway lights work other times they don't. And even though at the time being my Aunt and her family, and me and my son, are the only ones in the building, late at night when I know my aunt is sleeping, I hear thumping in the hallways sometimes voices. And the strange thing about the whole situation, is that I also hear people walking over me... The only thing over my apartment is a crawl space.
The strangest part of the whole thing, is I had this dream, that these spirits of both children and adults, were everywhere in the building, The were something like Zombies but instead of trying to eat us, they were asking where the bus was. I figured this just a nightmare as my father keeps teasing us about living in a school. In the dream my cousin and his family also lived in the school which at the time was silly since they live up the road.
Later that week, my 11 year old cousin tells me he had a simuliar dream to the one I had about spirits in the Building.
Last week my cousin talked to the landlord and decided to take the apartment accross the hall.
Today his wife came up to borrow my hair straightener and mentioned she's a little freaked about taking the apartment accross the hall when I asked why, she told me that she had a dream, that she was watching tv with the baby and heard someone out in the hall so she went to see what it was, when she unlocked the door, she seen ghosts of children and adults and closed the door and locked it again, she said they tried to open the door, and she could here children laughing.
This was weird because in my dream, they lived in that apartment and my son and I had been over there when my dream started. All three had sinced harm, in our dreams. Is this bad?
Should we all move? What can I do, it gives me a really bad feeling

I guess my first question would be, is this your first time experiencing this sort of thing? Cause if it is its no wonder you are so freaked out by it....BUT there IMO isnt anything to worry about....Ppl dont tend to realize that we have spirits with us/around us ALL THE TIME...they are everywhere, in our homes, our offices, outside, at the store and so on...BUT that first time dealing/encountering/even just thinkin about it can creep a person out in a big way....As its been mentioned though, spirits won't harm you...they can be a right royal pain in the rump at times LOL especially if they are playful but vicious and harming..well in all the yrs I've been in tune (which is since my childhood) I've never once had anything bad happen....and I learned long ago that when they are in a giddy mood but i'm not, a simple "NOT NOW" or something along those lines works.....As for your dreams....well I would do a little analysing and seeing what parts of your dreams are connected to YOUR life/current possible situations etc THEN see what the remaining parts are and how they may be connnected to something outside your personal life.....

Well, IndianDevil, I suggest that you smile and put your thoughts to rest.
Please have an electrician come over to check the EMPs (electro-magnetic pulses) in your apartment. It sounds to me like the wiring in there is improperly shielded.
What can that do? It can cause a build-up of static electricity, cause bad felling and nightmares, and make you feel uncomfortable.
Houses that have a high rate of EMPs often have reports of ghosts.
Now to the fun part: you've got animals up in the crawlspace. Not an uncommon event. I used to live with a squirrel who used to get caught in my chimney, had raccoons, and mice. Yuk...
And if all of this fails to make you feel better, then think of it this way: ghost are merely impressions left behind of people who once lived there. They stay because of happy memories, not sad ones.
Laughing children's voices would make me happy, too. It's my favorite sound. :)
So long as they don't get in your way, don't "haunt" you, don't speak to you, and behave themselves, don't worry about it.
Anyway, no matter what anyone tells you, ghosts can't harm you. Sure, you can be surprised, but they will never hurt you.

Thank you that makes me feel a little better. Though it's not the lights in my apartment that are the problem its usually the main hall lights outside. The ones that the landlord pays for. All I was worried about was the dreams because they were unlike the laughing we hear, it was almost scary and gave a sense of harm. I can't see anything bad thing happening in this building even though it was at one time a school. it was only built in the 60's so not really that old the just closed it because it is a really small cummunity, we have no stores exact a gas station convince store. So the few kids that live around here are shipped to the nearest schools. And which brings me to the other thing, where this building only served as a cummunity school there would have been no bus's. I think my father just has us all creeped out by it. Though at times I do feel something here

no need to move, just protect yourself. GO to each door, mark each one with the sign of the cross, do it by putting your finger in water and just mark each door, tell the spirit to leave as you do it. You should have no more trouble

I belive that i have a spirit in my house as well, however it doesnt scare me coz it´s not evil. If u feel uncomfortable try getting a priest or something there, otherwise just ignore it. They are probably not there to hurt you or the kids.. they are just stuck in limbo like someone before me menchioned!

Well I am not expert, but I feel as though these Ghost are somehow in limbo. Something must have happened in this building. From what you describe, I don't think you are in any harm. I think the ghosts are just going along their way. Perhaps this was a happy place for them. I wouldn't be to alarmed, unless something bad happens to anyone. I have lived in a few different places where there have been spirits or ghosts, and I have never had a problem. Although one apartment I lived in was quite an experience for me, though nothing really bad happened to me. Just a few antics from the ghost or spirit if you will. But she did help me, though her story was a sad one, she came to me when I first moved into that apt. At first I was scared because she told me she had been murdered in the bathroom by her boyfriend. But after that all was well. Well there is more to this story , but it would take some time to tell. Maybe you would like to call upon the spirit and see what they have to say. I wish you well & hope all works out for you.
