Odometer changing to zero

Has anyone had a problem with the mileage on their odometer changing? I mean changing to zero miles. Not changing as increasing in mileage.
Mine has been doing it for at least six months. I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla. And I have talked to many people. And no one has ever heard of it happening.
One moment it will say zero and then look again and have 100 something. The last time it had the highest mileage after it changed back to zero was about 3000 miles.
I have a digital odometer.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

really i never look. i don't drive much and when i do i don't look. my hubby takes care of all of that and he is normally the one to drive. i would call the dealership and see what they say. i am sure they would want to see it just so they could get money out of you.

Thanks for responding. I did call a while back, and of course they said it could be one of several things. But they hadn't heard of it happening. Just waiting to have some extra money, if that will ever be!!!!
