You would have to use a program to encode your files to dvd format (.vob I think) but you didnt say what file type you are using with windows movie maker so I cant really say much more.

Ok..how to encode the file format...do I have to play the video while I encode it to *.vob format...When I download my video from my handycam, I use the DV-AVI NTSC format...but when I use the Nero to burn the video to a VCD format, the picture quality was really not so good..sometime, when I play it with my VCD, it just get stucked and jumping from 1 scene to another scene..what do you think?

Hi again, The conversion process to .vob format will take a long time, best would be to start the process at night and let is run overnight. You may not be able to use the computer during conversion, the software is very cpu intensive and will suck all the cpu power. It will not damage the CPU. Ash

Use dvdsanta software to convert files into .vob format. Once converted copy the files onto a video_ts folder on the DVD, if the folder does not exists create one then copy all the converted files under this folder. DVD players play files if they are under VIDEO_TS folder. dvdsanta.com for the conversion software. I have used it and it works perfect. As Ash
