can you live without conditioner?

there are some products which we can or can't live without right? well, when we're talking about hair car, i would absolutely die without conditioner. i wear my hair long so it really needs all the care that it can absorb. i really cant imagine a world without conditioners. maybe my hair would be all tangled and disorderly. sorry, im just really obsessive compulsive. :P what about you? can you live whithout conditioners?
