Who makes for a better boss, man or woman?

I have worked for both male and female bosses in my career. I have had my share of good and bad ones from both sexes. Overall though I do actually prefer working for a man. I have found that woman bosses can be a bit too emotional at times.

I think there are good and bad things to be said for both male and female bosses. I think it is about the individual person more than which gender they are. Of the headteachers I have worked for though I would say I liked the male ones more. I felt the female ones could be two faced. One moment they would be talking nicely to a parent and then the next moment they would be moaning to a teacher about waht they had said. I won't say the female bosses were emotional. They were driven by power and they acted as if they were very important people. At staff meetings they would suggest stuff and the teachers knew discussion could not be entered into. The male headteachers that I have worked for have not been two faced. They have also given teachers more say in what happens in the schools. I once worked in an office though and the male boss worked too hard in my opinion. I wondered if he ever went home. Some people said he was married to his job.

Both genders have their pluses and minuses. The woman boss can be more intuitive and more opened for your new ideas. The man boss will be more precise in his decisions.
