what do you plant in your garden. what's your favorite food fresh out of the garden to eat. i have a very small garden. i only plant yellow tomatoes, carrotts and cucumbers. although i'm planting this weekend and i hope to fit hot peppers in there as well. anyway i love all of those fresh out of the garden but i'd have to say carrots are my fav.

I wish that I had a place for a garden right now. If I did I would plant everything that you've mentioned plus lettuce, cabbage, broccoli and of course peas and green beans. The broccoli and carrots of course would be my favorites.

Currently, we have green beans, edible soy beans, strawberries, broccoli, spinach, leaf lettuce, carrots, yellow and red plum tomatoes, 2 jalapeno plants, and 4 green pepper plants. I'm patiently waiting for June 1 to plant my cucumbers. (that's when the cucumber beetle shold be gone, and not harm my plants.) But, I may plant some shallots instead. My in-laws have a small farm where we have potatoes and onions planted. If I knew the rabbits would leave it alone, I would plant more green beans and cucumbers out there. good luck with your garden! I'm hoping to have several batches of salsa this fall! Last summer's didn't last very long. It was TOO good!

I dont think you can beat fresh vegies. There is just something about them. They taste so much better. I havent got anything in my garden at the moment as we going into winter here and we get frosts and not sure if anything would grow. We only moved here 7 months ago. We have got a wild pmpkin vine growing but not sure if we will get any off it. Butg in spring i am going to plant tomatoes, cucumbers and maybe lettuce. Vegies are getting very expensive here due to the drought, so hopefully i will have some luck.

Ohhh, I love fresh veggies! We don't have a great deal of garden space either. WE plant 2-3 tomato plants, 1 cucumber , 1 bell pepper , 1 jalepeno pepper , 1 zuchinni, and 1 squash. We love veggies in our home! There is nothing better than a fresh veggie stir fry or fresh veggies roasted in the oven with a sprinkle of parmesean!
