Well I don't know about you, but I was dissapointed about the series finale. I had read that the writers didn't want a wedding as the last show, but I think I would have liked that better then this. The party was nice and it was nice to see that Luke and Loralie got back together or so it seemed. But it really left sooo much open. Like I said I was dissapointed. YOU??

I thought it was a great ending. Rory embarks on her new life, and Lorelai is happy with Luke and the potential for a wedding. It left the name of the show intact - the Gilmore Girls. I think we could do Luke and Lorelai and of course Emily & Richard with cameos from Rory on occasion, but it would not have the GG premise, a great mother daughter relationship. I liked it way better the last year's ending for 7th Heaven, that was awful. The one they did this year was much better

i wasn't disappointed at all. I think it ended perfectly. a wedding would have been too cheesy ending, but this was perfect.

So I heard on the radio that they did it that way because they are trying to bring it back on... so just sit tight... I thought it was one of the worst ones as well! You are not alone on this one. I would have been nice to see that Logan grew up and showed up to say good bye to Rory. Maybe we should be writers for the show... ha ha ha:)

I think that they could have ended the show better. There are so many loose ends yet. I am glad that Luke and Lor are back together but they could have drawn it out more. I am glad that Lor and her parents maybe getting along better maybe. There is so much in the air. It would be nice if they would make a tv movie about Luke and Lor actually getting married. The other thing is maybe Rory and Logan will find themselves back together. That was a weird situation. I will miss the show.

i didn't really like the ending either. it was not really good for a season finale. i'm glad luke and loralei got together but i would of liked something more. not sure what but just something more. i really wish there would be another season. i'm really going to miss this show.

I agree with you 100%. But my mom and I were talking last night about the ending. My mom says they may have ended it that way so that way they could either do a spin-off or bring the show back again like they did 7th Heaven. I heard rumors the reason the show ended was because the actress that played Rory was the only one to not sign a new contract. If this is true then they very well have ended it the way they did in hopes that maybe they could still convince Alexis Blediel to come back again once she sees how upset all her fans are with the show ending. We will have to wait and see!

Well, I'm disappointed that the show has ended already. It was a very short season. I would have liked a few more episodes, at least. I missed the second to last episode so really don't know what to think about Rory and Logan, other than I'm glad she didn't accept his proposal. In the "previously" clips at the start of this episode, they showed part of a discussion about the song Lorelai sang. I would have liked to see the whole of it, as it obviously had an impact on the Luke/Lorelai situation. In another discussion, someone mentioned Luke giving Lorelai a necklace. We had severe thunderstorms here last night and at one point I lost TV reception, during the bon voyage party scenes. I guess that's when he gave it to her because I didn't see it. I did, however, see the kiss. There was passion there, but I think the scene was a little rushed. In the very last scenes, when Lorelai and Rory are ordering breakfast at Luke's, it was just like old times, and when Lorelai said they needed a little more time to decide on what they'd have, the look of pure love Luke gave them when he said "Take all the time you need" I was satisfied that they were together again. I don't need to see them get married to confirm it.

I missed the ending! Yikes. But,I'll still watch it anyway, even though I know how it turns out. Guess I'm glad there wasn't a wedding. I mean, haven't we already done the wedding thing. She was married to Christopher for awhile, and we know how that worked out. Loralie is just such an independant woman she doesn't like being tied down. What's so wrong with her being with the love of her life (Luke) in a committed relationship for a couple years before they tie the knot? I just hope she doesn't dump him again over something silly. Someone mentioned the possibility of a Gilmore Girls movie or spin off. Is this true. I hope so. I taped the final two episodes, and my husband (who normally wouldn't go near the Gilmore Girls with a ten foot pole) watched the first half, and kept saying: "You have to watch it!" He was bummed when he didn't get to see how it all worked out.

Agreed I dislike the way they ended the show. In fact I was not ready for it to end at all. There are not many shows I like. Let alone actly try to remember to sit my butt down and watch. I could not believe they had made Loralie marry Chris to start with in the frist place. And then to go and not even really make Luke and Loralie get back together for sure. That was so not cool. I think they need make box sets cheaper to because I missed so many of they shows in the beginning and can not afford to go out and buy them. More so becasue I know Ill only watch them a few times and thats all. I loved that Luke had that party though and stayed up all night makeing that big tent all by him self. Thats love you know he thought of Rory as his own daughter.
