Over 35 Qassam rockets were launched from Gaza to Israel tongiht. About 10 Israeli citizens hurt. On the same time, there is a fight in Gaza betwen Hamas and Fatah the leader of the palastinians... What do you think Israel should do? If your country was hurt by rockets from other people, what would you recommand to your government?

Well, personally I think wars go on till men refuse to fight and I am appalled as anyone by the deaths of civilians when Israel responded to Arab aggression from Lebanon but it is hard to see what else Israel could do. Really this shouldn't be Israel's problem alone; what is needed as a UN with its own military might to police international disputes. all the best urban

Thank you for responding urban. Unfortunately, people like you all over the world are appalled by Israel strikes and not by Arabs strikes. Maybe because Israel is stronger than the Arabs around her, people think that Israel is the "bad guy" in the area. Many times the medias around the world show only the Arabs sides but in fact, Everytime the arabs start the hostility and don't leave any choice to Israel but attack back in order to protect herself. You can take for example the situation in this days at Sderot. More than a 100 rockets were launched to Israel from Gaza in the past two weeks. Badly, no one cares about it and Israel doesn't have anything to do but stop this shooting by aggressive way.

Shay... I think you should read my post a little more closely. You asked what should Israel do and that I answered. I am equally appalled by Arab attacks in fact perhaps more as they seem to be the aggressors. Also we are aware of the bias prevalent in reporting. My point is that the horrific actions that Israel is forced to take in response to Arab aggression are the responsibility not just of Israel but of the world community and it is, therefore, inappropriate of the world community to blame Israel. all the best urban

Sorry urban, I didn't mean to attack you. I think you understand well the situation in the middle east, hope the people in the UN will understand someday too. Wish you the best too.

i only saw this post that was opened by you now shay. Did you hear about the legal claim that the people that are living in sderot want to make against the Arabs that threw the kasams at them? This is interesting, because we found out that we can do that, and that is because the pales tins were defined legally as a sovereignty. so i say if they were defined as a ribonot, then we can go ahead and act with them, as a ribonot. and that means we have every right to fight with them like two equal countries that get into war.. this is the answer.

Hi Liran. I Actually didn't hear about this plan but I certainly thought about it when saw the horrible photos from Sderot. My mother lived many years in Sderot so I have special feelings for the place and I really want to see an end for this situation. But, do you believe that if we define Sderot as a ribonot the Qassam will stop? I mean, I know that we must hit the terrorists back and if the people in Sderot decide to fight I think I will help them. But for this reason Israel has a strong army. When other people attack your country- the government obligates to protect her citizens by attacking back! Our government abandons the people in Sderot!

That's a pretty bad news. I think the Israeli government has something to do with that problems. They have the power to ask the other part to stop. You cannot demand the higher position to accept your idea. Maybe the best thing to do is to pray coz I believe that there is no impossible with Him.
