I have a big bag of spinach and i thought about giving my lizard some, i asked about and people are giving me mixed opinions, does anyone know if they are dangerous to lizards or if they are perfectly harmless

Spinach is NOT recommended as it prevents reptiles from absorbing calcium. Instead of wasting the calcium dust on the spinach, just avoid it all together and substitute with other greens such as bok-choy and romaine lettuce.

From what I've read, spinach is okay as an occasional treat. It binds more calcium than it offers, so it should be well dusted with RepCal. My beardie love collard and turnip greens! ~Ginger~
