Sick Cat?

Is there a possibility that my kitten is sick? He goes to the bathroom way too much and it smells worse than any human! I have to change his litter every 2 days! What are your thoughts? Should I be scared that he's sick? Would it be his kitten food or maybe because he eats our adult cats food? or the dogs food? If so how do I stop that?

If the kitten seems happy and healthy in every other way, I would guess it was the food. The mix of all three foods could be causing his poo to smell! Try to feed the dog seperate from the cat. Also trying to keep the older cats food seperate might help. If your kitten is poorly it will be showing other symptoms by now. It is most likely where it is mixing the food!

The foods are all separated but my kitten can still get to it, there is no other way to separate the foods without locking my kitten up

I would try changing the kitten food. If you use generic, try the cheapest name brand you can afford. If he gets wormed regularly, I would definitely look at the food. Maybe try feeding the dog and keeping the baby busy in another room 'til the dog's done. If it continues, maybe change the adult cat's food as well. If there is a high ash content it can cause problems. Hope this helped.

Well he's actually on a good brand name and as for the dog she leaves food in her dish so it wouldn't matter and we can't change Onya food because then she will get sick...

You may need to check with a vet. There may be something else going on. They will probably want a stool sample and to take kitty's blood. They can tell you if anything bad is wrong.
