I've taken two online classes. It is different from normal classes obviously because if you have any questions, you have to email or message the teacher depending on how the class is set up. The classes I took were kind of similar to mylot, because you have a message sytem like this where you communicate with the entire class. Also you post your assignments on the forum. It all depends on the person, some people like it, and some people do better in a more interactive environment.

Both of them have own disadvanges and advantages. Online class is more flexbile for someone who don't have regular time for school, but we lack of enough communication with teachers and classmate. In regular class we have more chance to learn and attend all kind of activies in school. Which kind of class should you take in will depend the situation you are in.

I definitely don't have time to for regular class.. From what i have been reading, online classes are the way to go if you don't have to much time on your hands.:) Thanks so much for posting?

I have taken online classes, I will be taking a few more this summer but only computer classes. I find it is harder to take other classes like English or Management because I like to be able to ask a question, you have to email and then wait for them to answer you and sometime they take a day to get back to you. But my computer class was a breeze to take online, that's why I will be taking more computer classes online.

Thats stupid, i think they need to be checking their email every 2-4 hours at the minimum. But it sounds like a lot of people like them so im think im going to go with the online classes:) Thanks for posting!

Hmmm.. I think regular class is better than online classes... Beacuse from regular school we get friends, lovers etc..... But from online class.. NOTHING like that.

regular classes are way better than ol classes.direct interaction with the lecturers gives u a better chance of understanding topics...only advantage of ol classes is dat u wont hav to walk till the campus..

I did both. It really depends on how dedicated you are to your school work. It's easy to go to class and study, because there is a set time and someone is standing infront of you. But with online, you have to push yourself to do it. It's easy to get distracted and put of the work til last minute. I wasn't crazy about online but it's better than nothing. I am actually looking into going back online, also. It's convienient if you have a lot to do. Plus you don't have to drive to a campus. I hope this helps

Yea i can see how you would have to push yourself to study. That is one thing i would miss about regualr classes, it gave me a time study. Ive been really dedicated throughout my life, and i think i have the discipline to get the job done. So i think i'll be ok. Thanks for the post, it helped tremendously!:)
