We shoule sleep for 6-8 hours everyday, I usually sleep late, often after 11pm, but I think it's ok for my health, I always sleep over 10 hours during the weekends.

I usually stay up really late cause I just tend to be a night person. I try to make sure I get in 8 hours of sleep though. I don't think there's anything wrong with staying up really late, as long as you're getting a good amount of sleep once you do go to bed.

I heard somewhere that if you and adult you can get by on 6 hours of sleep. What does get by mean just kinna flow through the day listless? I have a very bad sleeping habbit and i hoping to break it. I wanted to start tonight but i dont see that happening. I stay up late useually until 2 am never later then 3. then i have to get up at 7 am to get my kids off to school and hubby off to work. then i watch 2 hours of charmed and then try to lay back down until 12 or 1. Unless my youngest has a different idea and wakes up before then. Then i wake up and get on here and then one by one the kids get home and sometimes i even fall asleep through the evening then around 7 and 9 om i get back on the interent and start the cycle over again. I always feel tired and dont like it. I am lucky right now i dont have to go to work but will have to soon.

A full night's sleep technically counts as 7-8 hours. You won't die if you get only 6 hours of sleep, but for good rest, you need a minimum of 5 hours of REM sleep (deep sleep). There's nothing wrong with staying up all night and sleeping all day. It means you're a nocturnal person; your body's natural clock just happens to be set so that you don't feel tired at night. As long as you get the recommended 8 or more hours of sleep per day, it really doesn't matter how late you go to sleep.

i mostly sleep at 1:00 at night and wake up at 9:00 in the morning. I think that's ok for me. sometimes i feel a kind of unhealthiness but it's already a daily routine of my vacation.

I sleep whenever I can. In our work, we have a shifting schedule. There are times I sleep at night, sometimes I sleep in the morning. Am not sure if staying late at night is unhealthy even if we sleep 8 hours. But for me health is wealth, and health but be taken cared of.
