Adoptions are too expensive

It gets frustrating when I think of all the babies who need someone to love and take care of them, but adoption agencies want you to be dern near a millionaire before they'll even consider you! I know tons of parnets who've had their own children who fall way below the guidelines of adoption agencies, but yet their children are loved and cared for, and they may not have everything they want, but they're fed, clothed, get medical care, kept clean, schooled, and are happy well adjusted kids. Many people like my husband and I could provide that for a child, but there's no way we'd pass the financial requirements. I think they should relax the laws a bit

Actually you must be talking of the laws in your country. The adoption agencies just try to make sure that the parents will be able to take care of the child .Whether they are finantially well settled. It is just that they want to make sure.In my country they don't look for millionaires just simple ccouple with decent income .What is more imporatnt for a child is not lots of money but lots of love.Actually you are correct in saying that the laws should be made more simpler so that many couples like you can adopt a child & give home to them.I myself want to adopt a child .
