ebay vs Amazon

have been doing the internet selling thing for a while (mainly with ebay but occaisionally through amazon) and have come into possession of a large number of books, worth placing on ebay? or better to setup an amazon seller's account and do it that way?

I have to admit that i've lost faith in eBay. I used to sell through eBay quite a lot but now i find it very difficult to shift anything let alone make a profit. I haven't used Amazon in a long time but i have bought from sellers very recently. I think for books you should try Amazon first, provided it doesn't cost too much.
