Life is much fast and so busy, full of day to day events that would make sometimes stress and one feels that there must be some wayout to get rid of stress. How do you make yourself relaxed? Do you like watching funny movies, playing with your kids, weeping ;) or any other activity? How it relax you? I frankly prefer to play with my little kid and that makes me much easy and tensionless by his gestures and body language hehehe :)

I would like to watch Mr Bean hehehe This is good to relax me. While after my studies I feel some tension or somethings gone over the head, I just stop and watch the said movie. Thanks

I like watching Mr. Bean also. I think the funniest episode is the Christmas one where he has a turkey stuck on his head!

It all depends on the kind of stress. If I'm extremely stressed, I need to be alone because I don't want to expose my children to any of that. Not that I'm inappropriate, but sometimes it's difficult for me to work through those emotions and they're so young - they don't need exposure to that. Most often, I'll write furiously in my paper journal or work in my art journal on some sort of abstract piece of outsider art. Other times, I'll sift through home decorating or gardening shows because they seem so peaceful and tranquil compared to my life.

My way of relaxing is either Reading or working on my Book or my Web blog When I read I can actually loose myself into that world and forgot about my World and what it holds

I usually spend my off days with my boyfriend, just watching TV, catching up with TV shows and anime. If he's not around, though, I spend my free time browsing the net, blogging or here in mylot. =)

Sometimes I walk to relax. Also I like to just sit with my family and talk. Usually we do this on Friday night although we have done it on other nights too. When my kids were little I enjoyed playing with them. That too was relaxing. And sometimes I like to watch a fire burning in the fireplace with soft music or no music and drinking a cup of hot chocolate or hot tea.

for many years now, my way of relaxing to ease tensions and stresses, is by talking to my kids about our past happy moments. or those momentous events in our lives where we have won over and above the difficulties that we have been through. this is a good celebration of life. it is refreshing and inspiring. it reminds us that if we have the will, we will win it over and above the challenges that we continuously face in this life.

Playing with my three year old (well he's almost 3) is great. He is so funny!! Sometimes though I just need to have quite and get inside my own head for a while. Those times I turn to crafting. Regardless of what I am crafting; it is really relaxing.

I read a good book while lounging in my favorite sofa. It feels relaxing especially if the book has a happy ending. To add up to the relaxed feel, I prepare a warm cup of hazelnut caramel coffee that I can sip while reading my book. I just feel so relaxed that I sometimes end up closing my eyes and then sleep..

At the end of the day when dusk falls, I go for a long walk to destress. It works the kinks out of my body and mind so I can sleep good at night. If I don't walk, my body really feels it the next morning when I wake up. I also work out in my yard as a great destresser for me.
