I'd rather get hurt knowing the truth than be told a lie because the person lying to me has good intentions. They misjudge me when they do that, and it is for their own selfish gain, because THEY are afraid of getting hurt themselves. Their problem, not mine.

I'd rather get hurt to know the truth,to have a clear conscience or have a peace of mind and stop asking and wondering rather than be told a lie and have this "ok" feeling but still have some doubts about it...

I would rather know the truth upfront than to have someone continuously lie to me. It would only hurt temporarily if they tell me the truth, it would hurt a lot longer if I have be deceived and lie to over and over.

i would rather hear the truth even if its hurts....than find out later on that the person lied to me and pretended that she/he has been honest...
