If you have been given a choice to become immortal,What will you do??? will you accept it?? You will never die,no one can kill you,no one can harm you!! Will you accept immoarality? For me the answer is NO, never.Cause I will get bored out of living..lol. As every one else will be dying and leaving me,I will have to see all of them die in front of me. I will be left all alone on this earth,What If I get life imprisonment..:P he he !! SCARY!! what about you will you accept an unending life??

well immortality is definitely not for me. i live my life to fullest at the moment and i have no regrets. i think i can do it as long i have that power in me. so if you give me that life long vigour and youthful energy with immortality then maybe i would go for immortality. but without that its definetely a no no.

Nah. I shall give it a miss. Recently I watched an anime and it showed a group of people who had gained powers to become immortal. Looking at the way they live and their pains of losing their loved ones one by one, I doubt I want to live like them. I guess Living Immortally is only good if everyone in this world can live immortally. If it's just me, I wouldn't want to be.

I'm talking about a Japanese animation. It's called Bleach. In the anime, the immortal beings are called Bount.

Despite how I feel I would choose to become immortal. Maybe it is to see the world end or just to give myself the pain of life forever I don't know, but I would choose to live forever.

No, I don't want to be an immortal. It's going to get boring as years go on and on...Perhaps, there will be more violence in this world because people would be looking for more fun and enjoyable things to do perhaps even at the expense of their fellow human beings. I imagine "Gladiator" sports, and the like... scary!

I doubt I would want to. I mean talk to a lot of old people who are the only one in there family living they are extremely depressed. I would hate to live out everyone I love and will love you will feel no point in loving anyone since theyll just die before you and youll be alone again but thats just my opinion everyone else could be different.

I woud take it. I would eventually get used to the deaths around me and no longer feel pain. then i would travel the seas. being immortal i can't drown so i would go to the bottom of the deepest places in the ocean. once i got bored with life on this planet i'd ask a scientist to send me on a rocket somewhere else like neptune. this would happen to me in around 1000 years though.

Hmmm....this discussion reminds me the movie the Highlander which I just saw two weeks ago. I saw all the movie series one to five. One to three was okay but four and five was lousy. Me? An immortal...I wouldn't mind because I can observe and see the changes and advancement in the world. But the only sad part is to see my family come and go while I still remain.

that's exactly what my fear is. Being left alone in this whole world. Thank you for your response.

I'd never want that...it would mean outliving not only my children but also their children and their childrens children and so on...it would mean outliving my friends and "family"....I would have to watch society contiuously destroy itself not to mention you'd end up living in some lab and being poked, prodded, tested, watched etc etc like some freak because the government or some loony scientist would want to figure out HOW it is you are immortal....I dont know why anyone would want to be immortal really...I mean what would be the point or benefits of it ya know....

No, I would not like to be immortal. I know that one who has born has to die and it is a natural process of life and I agree with you once we have seen joys & sorrows of life...we would like to leave this world and body.

If I was given the choice, I'd choose immortality. Not because being mortal means you'll die and stuff. But because being alive forever, you can see the progression of mankind. I'd like to see what kind of technology mankind will have in 15 years and how the world has progressed.

We are already immortal, but not in the earthly sense. We never realy die because as I heard some one say,we are never born. Our spirit is eternal and unchangeable

It depends on the age at whichI get immortality. i f I remain 35-40 during teh terms of immortality then i would love it,. If I were to become immortal at the old age of 70-80 it wouldn't be worth it. As for people dying around me, even without immortality I see people dying around me sowhat difference it makes.
