What is the farthest place you've been to so far? A long way from your home, you might have been to other countries, or just in another state or province.. or probably a few blocks from your house is the farthest you've gone to? (oh, please don't say yes.. that's like so sad..) Please share your experiences and share why did you go to that place.

The farthest I've been to is our province which is like, in another island and about an 18 hour drive away including a two hour ferry ride. Excluding that, the farthest would have been in another province where we took a vacation which is also a 16 hour drive away.

My first vacation after high school was to the Bahamas. A girlfriend and myself took a cruise and it was so much fun! I loved the open markets, beaches and of course the whole cruise in general. I would love to go back!

The farthest I have traveled is Canada when I was a child. Its a beautiful area and hope to visit again. My most recent travel experience was for business in Seattle, Washington and saw the Space Needle and lots of fish.

When it was our 10th anniversary my husband got a map out and said, pick where you want to go. I chose the furthest south Island that I could see. We live in NY and went to Marguerita Island. It was a long plane ride, but worht it. We had so much fun!!

The farthest I have ever been from home was when we flew to Hawaii. It was a nine hour flight from Detroit,Michigan to Oahu,Hawaii. We went on vacation it was a great time. I almost missed my flight back home. My parents took there for my 16th birthday.

In Manila? So you must live somewhere in Visayas or Mindanao? Or probably in Luzon but far from Manila, right? I'm sure opportunities will come ;)

I live in Hong Kong and the farthest place I have been to would be the states. I travelled there when I was 19 to visit a friend of mine and improve my English. I couldn't believe it was so much of a difference from Hong Kong. I remember I was stunted by all the open space and everyone needs to drive there. I got bored after 2 weeks because there was nothing much to do. I went to a small town, the people were really nice though!

I'm originally from the Philippines so the furthest I've travelled to is England. I live here now. From England, the furthest I've travelled to by car is Amsterdam. I drove to Amsterdam with a friend of mine for a holiday. We spent a week there visiting various tourist sites.

It's hard to tell. When I lived in Brazil I went to New York and France - both 11 hours flight. I went to US for 3 weeks on vacations and I lived in France for 2 years. Now I'm living in Spain and went on vacations to Romania with my girlfriend. It's is the fartest place I've been from my homeland, but the travel is shorter - about 4 hours.

The farthest place that I have been to is Hawaii. My husband and I went there on our honeymoon 6 years ago. It was absolutely breath-taking. We visited Maui for a week and Kauaii for a week. One day I will get back there!!!
