Headache when hungry...

I have noticed that if I do not have a pop within a few hours of being awake, I get a bad headache that lasts pretty much all day. In addition to this, I seem to get headaches if it's getting around meal time and I haven't had anything yet. It's really getting annoying. I feel like I'm gaining a lot of weight over it because I seem to just keep eating and drinking pop to keep my headaches away. My friends always call them "Hunger Strikes" because I feel so hungry and start to feel almost ill from headache, fatique, ect. My boyfriend thinks I should see a doctor. By the way...I do not starve myself. I always eat lunch and dinner and sometimes breakfast. I eat sometimes in between meals too (oops, lol) My eating habits haven't changed, but I feel like if I have to wait an extra couple hours before I can get lunch or dinner, I end up with a nasty migraine. Does anyone else get this or is this a symptom of something not good? :(

Your probably eating things that are high on the glycemic index. Your blood sugar is going up fast and coming down sharply and giving you headaches. Things like white rice, regular pasta, soda, potatoes, high sugar fruits, etc all have high glycemic indexes. Check out the South Beach Diet. It is based on the GI. Hope to help!

It's one of 2 things. You are either not drinking enough water and are becoming dehydrated ot it's caffeine withdrawal. I used to drink a lot of pop and on the occassions when I tried to quit I would get blinding headaches for 3 or 4 days due to the caffeine withdrawal. I've really cut back on the pop and now drink a lot of water instead and the headaches are few and far between.

this means that you have accumulated too much toxins in your body already. i had been through this before. i had tried some cleansing diets for my digestive system. however, the best one that i have come across with was with the use of orlistat. this is a diet pill. i don't know if you can buy this over the counter or with a doctor's prescription in your country. i recommend that you take this product. it is known by the brand name of xenical in our country. consult a doctor now so you can start taking this. about 4 months might be needed to be rid of most of the toxins. to help in the efficacy of orlistat/xenical, take plenty of fruits. apples, grapes, papayas, pineapples, oranges and pomelos will greatly enhance its efficacy.

I'm not sure why you get headaches when you dont eat on time. But the reason I'm sure you get the headaches when you dont drink the soda is because your body is addicted to the caffine. I'm the same way when it comes to not getting my Iced Tea. If you really feel like there is something wrong why not just go see the Dr. about it.
