Humor or not? "Clinton Soup"

Slick Willy - Bill Clinton promised the country a lot of sweet things, but he had his share of sweet things in the shadows too!

This came in my email. Personally I think it's hilarious. As a responsible voter, first in the US, and now in Canada, I try to watch the personalities of those for whom I vote. I never would have voted for Clinton, but I think he did a great job of fooling the people who did vote for him. I think there is a lot of sad truth in this ironically funny piece. CLINTON SOUP It doesn't matter what party you belong to - this is hilarious. From a show p[n Canadian TV, there was a black comedian who said he misses Bill Clinton. "Yep, that's right - I miss Bill Clinton! He was the closest thing we ever got to having a black man as President. Number 1 - He played the sax. Number 2 - He smoked weed. Number 3 - He had his way with ugly white women. Even now? Look at him... His wife works, and he doesn't! And, he gets a check from the government every month! Manufacturers announced today that they will be stocking America's shelves this week with "Clinton Soup," in honor of one of the nations' most distinguished men. It consists primarily of a weenie in hot water. Chrysler Corporation is adding a new car to its line to honor Bill Clinton. The Dodge Drafter will be built in Canada. When asked what he thought about foreign affairs, Clinton replied, "I don't know, I never had one."Then Clinton revised judicial oath: "I solemnly swear to tell the truth as I know it, the whole truth as I believe it to be, and nothing but what I think you need to know."

I don't think it's funny at all. I think it's just plain stupid. I just wonder how long will people be bringing up this kind of crap? If Bill Clinton didn't do anything else, he got The Family and Medical Leave Act passed. That was astounding. His approval rating mostly stayed in the 50's and 60's, so somebody liked what he was doing for the country.

It's true Clinton did some good things, but people tend to remember his bad reputation rather than his accomplishments. Thanks for your comments.

I think that this is hilarious. It is so true. I didn't like Clinton then and I still don't like him now. I didn't like him when he was govenor of Arkansas. I sure don't think he should get another 8 years of living in the White House.
