I've been away for a couple of days. I've recently read a few discussions about e-gold. Could you please tell me what happened with e-gold?

i think e-gold was charged with legal charges but it hasnt been proven that they are doing something wrong. that's why mylot has deleted all the e-gold accounts and told us that it will be at our won risk if we proceed using e-gold. i proceeded using e-gold because i think it means and does no harm. :)

E-Gold was indicted for Money Laundering and something else dealing with money transitioning. They have been watched by the government for quite sometime. But they aren't in trouble yet, they still have to be proven guilty.

They pay you via e-metal i.e in Gold. The amount of e-metal in your account is accounted by weight. This amount will only change when a transaction is performed to or from your account, or a storage fee is assesed. You can view these transactions and the amount of e-metal credited/debited to your account using the History function of the e-gold Account Manager. The Balance function also shows an equivalent fiat currency value of your e-metal - this value will fluctuate with changes in exchange rates.
