im a bit afraid sometimes knowing that needle will tuck into my nerves and going to sip my blood..im asking your thought bout this because as of this moment our company is currently conducting an annual medical check ups for our employee's, and observing some of them afraid and not want to stare the needle while inserting on their nerves, others are closing their eyes, or looking somewhere not to see what the doctors doing..so many reactions that i observed.. how about you? how do you react against the syringe?

I don't readily volunteer for them but I surely do what I have to do. My husband is diabetic so I see injections every single day. I guess I've gotten used to it. I do have to say I'd rather have blood drawn than have an injection. Injections tend to sting and burn and having blood drawn is only one little poke and then you wait.

I used to be so afraid of needles, but then I decided just to "man-up" and think of it as a necessary medical procedure. I think it's just weird having the needle in your skin more than anything. It hurts and tickles.

I don't particularly like needles and they make me a bit tense but it's not really a big deal for me. I've had blood taken, given blood, and gotten shots many times without any problem. I usually don't look when they put the needle in.

LOL, archer, you are talking to a bunny here who has a degree in Dental Medicine under her belt. Isn't it quite obvious I'm not afraid of needle. I can look directly at where the needle will be inserted on my forearm. I really don't know why I am not afraid of needle. Since I was a little girl, it wasn't even a caused for concern for my parents. My sister is the one who has a great fear for it.

Actually i don't fear needles or injection but yes i don't like them also.Taking injections on hand is ok but in stomach or any other place is really painful. Also, it is annoying to be pricked in your body.Anytime i will like tohave bitter pill than having injections.

yes, i am so afraid of needles and syringes. in fact, i shifted from my previous course, which is nursing because i am scared of performing injections and putting dextroses on people's bodies! :( i am now taking up BS Psyhcology and i can really say that i've hit home. :)

nursing course is so hard, you need more energy to attend on your duty.. no vacation even on summer.. like my sis in law..but when you finished your study its a big success for you coz some people with doctorate degree shifted to nursing.. but good luck to your new chosen course
