Animals Versus Humans!

It was written on the bible that God created man on his own image and likeness. I believe that human shouldn't be compared to animals. However as time pass by, most especially now, people tend to become animals. What I mean is they act like animals. They fight each other and sometimes kill each other. God gave us emotion so we can empathize for others. What is happening now, we tend to be more on thinking only ourselves. We didn't care for others. Where is the distinction that God gave us?

Well I don't believe we are more animal then human as we are different then animals in some ways but we do have some qualities the same as animals . As in humans and in animals we will fight to survive , we will do anything we can to defend our family from harm and no one wants to stand in the way of a mother trying to defend her young , but I don't believe this makes us more like animals just that we all have qualitles that may be similar .
