Although I gave up coffee several months ago Maxwell House was my brand of choice. This does vary with the water though. Every brand will taste different with the water you use.

Fasig's is great for brewed -- they make a ridiculously good Irish creme. I like that "taster's choice" instant stuff, haven't had anything better than that.

I am not really a coffee drinker, I wouldn't know one perculated brand from another. But in the instant brands I prefer Maxwell House.

My favorite brand of coffe for brewing is Mellita. It's really tastes good. And it smells good, too! For instant coffee, i'm contented with folgers. On the other hand, if we are talking about coffees from coffee shops, the best i've tasted is Pacific coffee, when i was in hongkong. Better than starbucks, i think.

i can't ride on this topic 'coz i'm not a coffee drinker. it makes me sick and will make my day miserable that i suffer from heart palpitation for any trace of caffeine.

For drip coffee try Savarin. It's more expensive but it is simply delicious. I like good old Cafe Bustelo for expresso. I got spoiled living in Miami. If it's not strong coffee with a rich aroma I won't touch it.
