What is your case in astigmatism?

My eyes can't see very clearly, even if someone is close to me I can barely recognize their faces. My grade is I think 400+ since I'm always in front of the computer.
How about you?
What are the causes of your astigmatism?
And what is your current case now?
Do you wear contact lenses like I do?
Or just glasses, or both?

My vision used to be 20/400 or -6.7 and -6.8, but with glasses I had 20/20 with a slight astigmatism. Then I had PRK over 1.5 years ago. No, I don't have any astigmatism, but my eyes are around 20/30 to 20/40, depending on how tired I am. I could have gotten a touch up, but the risk wasn't worth it.
I'm glad I got the surgery because I don't need glasses; however, I'm considering getting a pair to help with some of my other activities.

Nice! I'm having troubles with contacts too.
They don't work well on windy days.

I have astigmatism. I havent got them yet but I'm getting eyeglasses. I see things like floating squares when im in the house or at night. I also see shadows and white oulines on people. I just recently found out that astigmatism was the reason I was seeing those things. I also cannot read without getting a headache. The doctor said my left eye is doing all the work and my right eye is on vacation. Something like that.
