Master or PH.D?

May 19, 2007 12:53am CST
To be as a foreign student in the US, I have to decide which degree to apply. My major is about oil storage and transit,By the way, which university or college does well in this field, can anyone give me some advice in specific? Then I've heard that without master's degree in my country,I also can apply for the PH.D,but it will take me longer time to graduate. In contrast, master's degree only needs around 3 years, but it's more difficult to get fellowship, and I need money very much. Plus I prefer to get a job than do research in my future career,so which will be better? Thanks for every response.
