The United States has earned the mark of being a melting pot of the world, where people of different cultures, races and ideologies live and work. The idea of multiculturalism runs that people of multitude walks of culture ought to receive equal cultural, economic and political status in the nation's society that they are in? Multiculturalism espouses the idea that there is strength in diversity, and a unified society where respect for people's differences are upheld in laws, privileges, civil liberties and work opportunities. Should we then celebrate multiculturalism in the United States?
