Uhmmm, corny... Ehhh! heard that before buddy... Eherm, had something new? Those are just a few reactions people give when they hear a joke that they've heard before. Some would really go blunt and rude, some would just say nothing, some will strive to make the "clown" feel good by laughing out loud though inside he feels like crying, hehehe! I usually laugh on jokes that I've heard before. There are jokes that are really funny that jearing them again and again will make me really laugh out loud. But there are lousy jokes that you wish you won't hear again. Well, I sometimes act in a polite manner and give out a smile, but I don't laugh again... What about you? How do you react if you hear a joke that you've heard before? Do you yawn? Do you raise a brow? Do you politely smile? or you guffaw over and over and over again? Your thoughts are highly appreciated.. :D

No I don't laugh at the jokes which I have already heard. I just give away a little smile which is a clear indication for the person telling me the joke that either I have heard the joke before or this joke wasn't too funny for me.

Yes,of course I will laugh and laugh loudly. Why? what do you think a joke? Joke just wants lots of people laugh depends on it.For the other hand, the joke teller also wants you to happy with him too.For myself ,laughing is an exercise to me.MOre laugh more health I 'll gain.So why not laugh again and again? Can you follow me?

Hmmm, that's somewhat strange, you'll laugh even if you don't find the joke funny anymore? Oh well, it seems to me that every joke for you is meant to be funny, that's nice too, you are a very happy person :) keep it up!

I find it insincere to fake a laugh. So at most I will give a tight smile. I will be honest I heard it before. Or I will laugh because I got caught for the umpteen time and say that I heard it before but it is still funny.

I would then try my best not to throw "heard-before" jokes at you, I wouldn't want to see that "tight" smile on your lips, hehehe! Thanks for the reply milord :)

I'm like you. If I have heard it before and it's funny, I'll laugh. If it's a corny joke, I just smile and politely say, I've heard ot before. What gets me are the people that tell the same joke over and over. Maybe hoping it gets funnier the next time around I guess.

Yeah, jokes are funnier I guess the first time we hear them, but the "magic" wears off as they're told over and over again... still, there are just "all-time-favorite" jokes that we love to hear again and again... Thanks for the reply hunn... :D

To jokes that I ve heard before it is just a smile.. But there are jokes and scenes in movies for which I laugh over and over again... no matter how many times I watch em.

For people that I know really well or my close friends and families, I'll tell them that I've heard that joke already and that they need to come up with new and funny one instead. For people that I just meet or just friends or kids, I'll just politely smiles.
