Shrek 1? 2? 3? Which one is the funniest?

I just got home after watching shrek 3. As usual, Shrek made me laugh my heart out! It's not only entertaining, it is also very inspirational... lesson of the story was very applicable to the young and old. It's a fantastic family movie.
To all those who who watched Shrek, which one do you think is the funniest? 1? 2? or 3?

I think of all of them I actually prefer the first one. All 3 were very funny, but I think the first was the best. There are rumors going that there might be a 4th. That would be cool, although I don't know what else they could do with the story line.
