What types of vegetables(sabji) do you grow in your kitchen garden and how you take care? I grow papaya, drumstick, brinjal, tomato, beans and green-leafy vegetable plants only and an hour in the morning, it takes to care for these. I feel this is a healthy exercise. Please discuss.

I'd love to be able to grow papaya. I live in Canada, and don't have a green-house, so I can only grow vegetables during the summer and early fall. I've just planted tomatoes, cucumber, strawberries, peppers, and carrots, although my carrots typically come out of the ground looking like something from a science fiction film. I also keep some spices growing year round in doors like basil, and thyme. I agree with you that it's a healthy thing to do. I just started 3 years ago when we moved into a house with a garden. I was surprised at how enjoyable it is to do, and I love being able to eat things right out of the garden without having to worry about pesticides.
